Glitter jars are a great way to teach mindfulness and deep breathing to kids and they are still pretty fun for adults! VARYING COLORS AVAILABLE
Often using one’s senses, being mindful means you are present and focused in this moment. When you watch the glitter fall and sparkle and/or notice other details such as shapes, sizes and colors, you train your attention.
You can also practice deep breathing while repeating “I am calm” silently to add to the practice. Watch the glitter fall while enjoying the music and see how calm and good you feel after!
